Card Making And Bonding Moments

Bonding moments take in many forms.ч  Some girls can just spend a whole afternoon talking and say they are bonding. Older women can spend time in beauty salons and spas, and also call it bonding.ч  For men, their idea of bonding is watching a basketball game over some bottles of beer.

Several and varied definitions of bonding are given but simply put, it is just finding an activity that people can enjoy and do together to strengthen their relationship and make sure that they create fond memories of their togetherness.

One form of bonding that is gaining popularity is crafts, or more specifically, card making.ч  Women who are into card making will say that they spend countless hours of fun with their friends, while shopping for papers, inks and other materials.ч  Young girls find it a worthwhile group activity that they can do while they talk about school, growing up problems and boys.

For parents, bonding time with the kids can take different forms. But, in the words of a mother, Brenda Hyde, it is important to remember that there "is no set formula forч  connecting with your children."ч  Further, she said that "memories are treasured during a person"s lifetime because of the emotions behind the moment."ч  What could be a better way to remember that moment than to have a token that was made during that special time.ч  This is where card making comes in.

Card making is synonymous to finding a good time for parents to learn a new skill and teach the kids, while having fun and spending quality time with them. To add more fun, some games can be done.ч  One example is the "It"s your card day" game where all members of the family pick one member for whom each will make a card for.ч  The recipient will surely feel the love of the whole family as he gets cards from everyone.

Card making is definitely a fun and enjoyable activity that kids will surely love. For younger children, however, adult supervision and guidance is needed because there are tools that can hurt them if not used properly.ч  Some of these are the scissors, glue, glue gun and paper.ч  These are seemingly harmless items but, when not handled properly and left alone with kids, might spell harm.
