Turtle doves are located in parts throughout Europe and in Turkey and other countries. They are not found in other parts of the world where other dove-family species are found. Turtle doves are also known as migratory birds because they move to warmer climates during the cooler months. These birds cannot survive in really harsh, cold climates. However, it is important to notes that the turtle doves are not as plentiful as they once were. Even if you do not live an area where there are turtle doves, you can take it upon yourself to adopt another animal to bring attention to. Or, you can travel to the place where the animal you want to save is. Study the reasons why the population is in decline and then try to educate others.
